She had gotten a little too accustomed to the way he always looked like he was up to something, so it really didn't phase her anymore. -- LOL

Now you know it's true, Alice would have to get used to the look of trouble clearly written on Hatter's face at some point. It's always there, like he's constantly in the middle of some grand scheme.

Ah yes, you did catch on that she's about nine right? All will be explained in the following chapter. She's a right lunatic, my brother and I have decided. We've also decided that I must really be a very evil person deep down and hide it very well because I seem to come up with these deviously vicious villains despite my rather sweet nonconfrontational nature....who knows.

I'm sincerely glad you're enjoying it though! I've been trying to slow down the writing a bit, give people time to comment and the like to see what they like and don't like. But it's just so hard when things have already been plotted out in my head, like their escape... though I haven't decided the ending so who knows where that will go. Anywho, keep a weather eye out for chapter eight!

That's why I don't post until I'm done. It's a lot easier to look at pacing when the whole thing isn't clamoring to get out.
