Life in general: RL
As I mentioned in earlier posts. I have been in Connecticut and will remain here until tomorrow, when we drive back to Boston. It's been interesting.
LONG ramble ahead about RL!
Kory was nice enough to drive me, Lindsey, and Emma down. Let this be known first! I did not realize until today! E, L, and E's father, Steve, and EVERYTHING in their house? 100% British. of course I knew already about L and E and Steve's accent since I was still living in the dorms, but life in her house is just... I feel like I'm not in America. O_o <-- That's a OOOH! COOL face. not O^O face. I mean:
we have tea (English tea!) at least twice a day: once in the morning, once afternoon. Then the food we eat was so different! usually, Wine or Beer will be served alongside meals, along with Lots.Of.Cheese. and crackers. and light foods. The News caster somehow spoke 'EnglishEnglish', not 'AmericanEnglish'. I know it sounds trivial for me to O_O over but...
being the only one in the house that speaks without a british accent... It's decidedly odd. xD
We had 1 day for shopping. We have been doing HW. Cleaned the pool. toasted in the sun. (I say TOASTed does not mean I'm a TOASTER. Gah. there were times when I really wana bang my head against the wall for being such a nerd/geek/dork.) Speaking of, I made a goal for myself.
To better sound like a 'real' normal human being when i'm not around my friends. I have a goal for myself. not that it would ever happen.
I'm gona go 1 day at least without making Video games(namely MGS or FF), Anime/manga(Bleach), and references to TV show. (namely battlestar).
It's gona be a heck of a long day when that day comes. *sigh*
We saw princess and the frog again. it's pretty epic even this time round!
When I try to give E and L their alone time, I hide in TST and tagged/logged. If you see the frequent amounts of time I appear there, then that is why. I try to write my fiction piece for class: My goal is to get the 20page short story assignment outta the way asap! I am so far at page 7. well, it's not stuff one can turn in, but I got the protagonist down, and the world created. I think I'm putting too much effort on the backstory and details and not enough to the actual writing of the story, but mah.
Need to find two good stories to show opening paragraph to in class. I say I'm gona hit Borders or Barns and Noble when I get back in Boston to find some. It's not that hard of an assignment, but seeing that I'm not HOME, where all my novels are....

Marketing assignment is pissing me off. really. =__=# the stupid CD that we spent $200+ US dollars on that came with the textbook? NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MACS. I know I got a PC, but i brought the mac instead to Connecticut. It's just irritating for it to not work, seeing as we need that program for the entire assignment. Ayoh. Hao fan ah!
