Correction: those were not rules from his school... i was misinformed. His school actually has more rules than that... the kid can't even wear a hat on backwards. Here is a link for his rules (some).

The school is NUTS!!!! Did your mother want your brother tortured and watched 24-7 ALL summer??? Even if half of the rules aren't strictly enforced it's still horribly binding. IT seriously sounds like prison.... maybe worse. Why in the WORLD would ANY parent send a child there?? Unless they were severely in need of MAJOR structure in their lives or something... Did your brother rob a store or something? *sarcasm*

he's not really even a bad kid... he just needs to straighten out his priorities. Isn't that what parents are for? That's exactly why I'm so pissed.

Yea, i agree. I don't think there's any way i would send my child to such a place. It would be different if i agreed AT ALL with the environment or beliefs.... But this seems like so much over-kill and more like a place that would drive a child away from all that's good just by being so strict about every little thing instead of enforcing the important issues. He can't even go to the BATHROOM without asking permission. -that's ridiculous! I would not deal well with being there... But i hope your brother is alright.
