As for your friend...I dunno...maybe give her a chance to find something else? Cuz for a while I was all about being a DJ, and it was what I wanted to do...but my ideas about how I thought it was going to be, vs. how it actually was...and how that made me feel...they were two different things...so once I figured it out I didn't like DJing so much any more. So...maybe it wasn't that she didnt like it but it was just a stepping stone for her? And she'll probably go back to spin records every now and then, just not like she used to. And it sucks when you get all into something and you buy the stuff then you realize it's not what you wanted...and you're frustrated and kinda pissed at *yourself* for jumping into things...hence the jadedness.
But damn nothing is worse than being reminded of "oh THAT'S why we don't hang out any more" that's shit. Happened to me this week too. Bugh.
