I had that problem. Shannon had that problem. No worries. Being clerk just sucks in general because people don't cooporate.

Be like me. Be an asshole. Give them a deadline and if the hours aren't in cut their chance of getting them. I used to have a thing where for each day late I cut out 5 hours from the crewhead.

You don't know this, but I almost resigned. For different reasons, but still, I almost did. Mr. Adkins will encourage you not to, I will encourage you not to. Plus, if you stay with it, it is really worth it at the end of the year. When you look back...and you're in charge of everything before banquet, it's really worth it. It is, I promise.

It's worth it, Amanda. I had that problem too. What you have to do is hound those bastards EVERY DAY until they finally get them in. If they don't report 'em to Adkins, he'll talk to them, and he'll probably threaten to take away their crewhead eligibility or something.

I know it's a pain in the ass, and unfortunately you inherited a system that had kind of fallen apart (for various reasons). Just stick with it, though. Nobody else is more qualified for the job than you.
