[The ocarina notes of The Song of Healing can be heard. It lasts roughly two minutes, and the recording shuts off soon after that. There might be a feeling of refreshment after listening to it.]

I figure we could use a something to pick us up.

Though I'm not sure it's as strong when I play it through this.

Well, you should just head to the fountain...then, and start playing for all to hear, hmm?

I might do that when I'm off duty for a longer time.

Rion listens with rapt fascination, and is self-aware enough to notice the feeling of refreshment afterwards. A few seconds later and he's got his guitar out, trying to figure it out, but he is not quite skilled enough to play things by ear after having heard them all of once.

Which might explain the text Link gets about a minute afterwards.

Could you play it again?

[The response is for the ocarina to pipe the notes again, and lasting for a minute or so.]

[Link does get a response in audio, for once, even though that never happens with Rion. It's cool though, 'cause he doesn't have to talk to play guitar!]

[Which... he does. There is an occasional pause or something while he tries to remember the right note, and some of the notes are close-but-not-quite, but altogether it doesn't sound bad.]

[This is followed by a text message.]

Do you have it written down or anything, or do you just... know it?

I usually do it by ear, but I can scribble some notes for you, if you like?

You were pretty good for doing it by ear!

Good! It's a bit weaker over the communicators, but I'm glad it can still do that.

[Ryu tries to follow along after the tune finishes, but strikes a sour note on his flute.]

I guess I need more practice, huh?

You'll get it!

Hey, can you read music?

I'll teach you that at some point; it's pretty easy.

I'll come over after work?
