the mic, yes. overall? Doubtful :) I'd prefer to have the option & control to do so if the music calls for it. Btw, I'm still playing the shit out of that Ad•ver•sary album.

To be honest I understand wanting to control as many variables as possible so that you can craft and sculpt what you want. To me, I'd want a noisy mic since then what's generated is unpredictable. My way isn't what most would like, and only people like me would think it's the way to go :D
Yeah, it's a good album, and he likes feedback so write him and let him know you're enjoying it.
