So! I decided to spend my extra money on a trip to the zoo this weekend! I took my camera, and managed to get some good shots, I think.

I did try and call you, but your number was busy! Besides...sometimes I need a little alone time, you know?

We can go another day? Some of the exhibits were closed for renevation, so I didn't get to see all of them anyway.

I liked them too! They're so very cute close up. I don't know why people don't like them.

Their reputation proceeds them. Even though fruit bats consume fruits and are actually beneficial to the environment Hollywood and active imaginations has lump all bats as a dangerous threat.

Which is ridiculous! Even the real Vampire Bats only eat from cows and such, right? And they only take a teeny tiny amount!
