Basics
Full Name: Robert Bruce Banner.
Bloodline: Half-Blood; wizarding father.
Creature Type: Werewolf.
House: Ravenclaw.
Wand: Pear with phoenix feather core, 10 inches, quite flexible.
Pear: This golden-toned wood produces wands of splendid magical powers, which give of their best in the hands of the warm-hearted, the generous and the wise. Possessors of pear wands are, in my experience, usually popular and well-respected. I do not know of a single instance where a pear wand has been discovered in the possession of a Dark witch or wizard. Pear wands are among the most resilient, and I have often observed that they may still present a remarkable appearance of newness, even after many years of hard use.

Phoenix Feather: This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike. Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalise, and their allegiance is usually hard won.

History
Father: Brian David Banner.

Pet: A grey and white rat named Hawking.
History: Brian Banner was interested in marrying magic and Muggle science, which led to him attending some Muggle college science classes. There he met Rebecca, and the two married. Brian returned to his magical research, which centered on lycanthropy and its potential benefits, once divorced from the drawbacks. Sometimes his research went down dark magic paths, and an accident in his lab left him in St. Mungo's. He recovered, and never communicated the real danger of what he was doing to Rebecca. When she became pregnant with Bruce, Brian quietly began to convince himself that he was fundamentally altered from the botched magical experiment, and that his child would be a monster. Once Bruce was born, Brian's hatred grew and gradually became more and more abusive, to both Bruce and Rebecca, who loved her son.

As a young child, Bruce showed great aptitude for intelligence and magic, and at the age of four, accidentally used magic to put together an erector set in a pretty complex pattern. Brian saw this and determined that Bruce was indeed going to become something powerful and dangerous; from that point on, his abuse grew, until a few years later when Rebecca decided to take herself and Bruce out of the environment. Brian found them as they were trying to leave, and he murdered Rebecca as Bruce looked on. Brian nearly succeeded at bullying/threatening his son into lying for him, but he was caught and convicted.

Bruce went to live with his paternal aunt, Susan. At the age of 11, he went to Hogwarts. Quiet and reserved, and really rather fond of Muggle science, Bruce found it a bit difficult to fit in, even in his house of Ravenclaw. It didn't help that he often had nightmares about his father.

When Bruce was 14, he decided he would disprove once and for all his father's idea that he was a monster. He found his father's research and continued it, improving on it until he believed he'd accomplished what his father had wanted to with his lycanthropy serum: improved human strength, agility, and health. Determined he'd done it,and a tad bit obsessed, he tried the serum on himself. The results were disastrous. He turned himself into a werewolf, but an unnatural one. He does shift according to the lunar cycles, but intense bouts of rage can also trigger a transformation, and every potion he's tried that suppresses transformation in other werewolves don't work for him.

After his accident, Bruce became even more withdrawn, afraid to befriend anyone lest they find him out.
