From hereBruce's head is fuzzy and his mouth feels like cotton, and he's sore in a way that might indicate being moved while he was unconscious, and whoever was doing the moving wasn't being very gentle about it. In other words, been there, done that, but the issue here is that he doesn't remember Hulking out. That's never been the case, not since ( Read more... )

If Victor von Doom were the sort to take a captive without first taking all the necessary precautions as to ensure that said captive remains so, well, he'd not have lasted half as long as he has. Yet he has, and he intends to go on lasting, which, of course, is the point of all this. There are things he needs to know ( ... )

Bruce is scrambling to keep up with what's going on, and his thoughts are something of a scramble. From oh shit to we'll see about that to what the fuck to seriously?, for the most part, with a stray thought or two mixed in there, but that's the general trend. He pushes himself to his feet, even if that makes him dizzy. He should be more concerned about whatever it is Doom's done to him to supposedly suppress the Hulk, but Bruce sometimes has too much faith in the other guy. The other side of the coin is that Doom might just kill him, and well.

But that's just too much to think about when he needs to be paying attention to his surroundings, especially when his surroundings involve Loki apparently as a lady -- Doom said as much, after all, and if Bruce squints... -- here and chatting with Bruce's apparent captor.

He feels for Doom's general gross appearance, he does, but Doom does too many gross things on a consistent basis to others, experiments on others, and that's really something Bruce has a hard time getting over. He and Doom ( ... )

Loki hardly spares Bruce a glance, but she really can't afford to at the moment, not when she's busy holding Victor's attention. Stalling for time, which should be obvious, but men will believe what they want and Victor is certainly no exception. She crooks her fingers and pulls them free of where she's nestled them in his armour, nails catching on the end with a faint, metallic tink.

"You see, elskan minn, he is clever; you know I like the clever ones," she says and it's almost petulant, the pout in her voice and on her lips smoothing over the implicit warning. "I hope you haven't been too awful. You could've just asked me yourself, you know. Didn't need to go to all this troubleA gauntleted hand slides over the mostly-bare flesh of her shoulder and she shivers, tracing the familiar lines of Victor's mask with affectionate fingertips. She doesn't find Victor abhorrent, never has; it's just that the cool touch of metal against her skin is terribly pleasant. "Though it is terribly sweet of you ( ... )

Oh... Okay. Just... Sure.

Bruce watches Loki play Doom like a fish, which is weird enough, but she's also a girl this time and then she's blue and apparently the cold is contagious. He stands calmly and quietly, which he would've done even if he weren't transfixed by this show, and really, Doom? Really? Bruce could smell the bullshit from where he was standing, not that he's upset about his gullibility as that's why Bruce is now free, hopefully, but still. It makes victories against him a little less cool. That was like watching the candy and the baby act.

He's trying not to make too many really? faces, which is easy to do once Loki starts to turn blue, because then he's just openly staring. When she turns to him, he starts, but he doesn't need to be told twice. He starts toward her and stumbles, but picks himself up and carries himself the rest of the way, one eye on her and one on Doom ( ... )
