Alaska is a fabulous place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

I don't know!!! I've gotta think about it. I would miss my family dearly. I've never visited there either, but it would be an adventure. And they have children's case manager positions open with the state- so I applied. I'd be making WAY more money than I am now... and living somewhere totally far away. I'm guessing I wouldn't stay up there long. I'd miss everybody too much. But I'm kicking it around. Sacramento's been kicking my ass.

Alaska is great, but I don't know if I'd like to live there. It's very isolated, even the bigger cities. That makes it a great vacation spot, but... I also agree with Moose, that's a big move to have only one person to rely on for company. Just be absolutely sure.
