So Hellspark has secured the domain names for javatroll.ca and javatroll.org. Purplejavatroll and myself have been playing for a long time with the idea of setting up a javatroll website so that we can flap on at length about various things we think are important/cool/interesting

I suggest looking at medical sites and how they have information organized for various afflictions, and look at sites dedicated to particular afflictions. Yahoo directory is a good place to find a whole whack of sites.

I can see where you might eventually need both.

I'd consider going with the format you feel most comfortable starting out in and either summarizing the main points later or expanding the notes into more rigorous description later.

I'd start with the tabular form, unless you've got something more rigorous to write up that demands the full treatment?

I think that I would start with a description of what happened to Remy, so that people can look for similarities in the symptoms. Include a timeline. Discuss the treatment that he had briefly. I'd keep it as lay-person as possible, since your goal is to provide information to the masses that might not have the background you did.

Put the more in-depth stuff farther on or on another page, so that people who are interested and up to dealing with scientific jargon can go there if they like. Think of yourself as a translator from sciencese to English and the page will probably be more helpful to the general populace.

I'll echo the suggestion that you do the personal story first, then provide the more detailed medical stuff.
