I found it really funny, though the ending was uncompromisingly not.

I've been up to my ears in work-related manuscripts and the lives and deaths of horses. I get these mutinous fiction thoughts and then I work another 13 hour day. I've got Reno and Tseng hanging on a string and that's driving me nuts. Also thinking about some original stuff. Maybe while I'm recuperating I can move "Answer Man" forward...

Edited to note that I like the surly blond haxor with the weird hat...so far. I take it the blue-haired dude is the protagonist? He has interesting taste...
