My Take on the 50th and the Moffat Era.

You should definitely track down Peter Davison's Five Doctors(ish) rebooted film. I think you'd like it.

I'm looking for a non-BBC version of the video. If you have the link, let me know.

So what did you think of the 50th episode?

I got it from this torrent. Do you have a torrent client? http://www.utorrent.com is easy to install (and uninstall too).

ETA: I definitely liked the 50th. I was entertained, and I can hand-wave the bits that were kind of 'wtf'. I mean, I watched DragonFire and curse of Fenric and the Two Doctors and the Five Doctors, and they all made about as much sense as this one. I think my favorite scenes were in the desert with Bad Wolf and the War Doctor.

I will always enjoy the show. Just right now, that enjoyment is at a low point. Moffat just doesn't understand good storytelling. Way too many bumps in the road and unfinished plot threads. But my biggest worry is what he's done to the general nature of the show all because of his arrogance to rewrite anything he didn't like. And again, that wouldn't be bad if it weren't for the fact that what he replaced the Time War PTSD with was a variation on the plot line that would have been the McGann series [i.e., which was going to be an epic search for his father].

And just what the hell happened to that crazed Rassilon? Didn't he want to kill the Doctor for what he had done? Now, he was Gallifrey's savior instead.

Too much rewriting just cause he didn't like the groundwork that RTD had laid down.

Oh yea, I think I have a torrent client but haven't used it in ages...
