Whoa, what's with the hostility? First of there's tens of thousands of people in my "town". And it's not "meddling" because they haven't done anything really. All they've done is encouraged us to be friends. Nothing more. They've never even really said they wanted more. But you should see the boyfriend she has now. He's no good! He doesn't do nice things for her, he doesn't work, he doesn't have a good work ethic, he doesn't go to school. He's a bum! Her parents want what's good for her. They want her to be with a guy who will treat her right, who will hold doors for her, and always put her first. Someone with a good work ethic, and who wants to get a good degree so they can do well in life. Just so happens a guy like that used to live next door. A guy who babysat their kids, a guy who was alway there to help when they needed him. Not too shabby of a guy if I do say so myself. What's wrong with her parents wanting good things for her?

Okay first off, why shouldn't I care? I mean if anyone takes the time to comment on my journal I'll definately care about what they have to say! Is there some special time when you start caring more about what people have to say? Okay.. he's still a bum! She doesn't love him, I asked her. She's only with him out of convienience. Some people were saying stuff about her being a lesbian, and spreading lies about her, so she got a boyfriend to quiet people up. She's only stayed with him for that same reason. But yeah, she definately doesn't love him. And it definately is her parent's business who she's with. She lives with her parents (except when she's on vacation like now) and as long as she does she lives by their rules and under their watch. Everything she does is their business. To an extent anyway. And if they don't want a bum in their house they can keep him out. If she wants to continue dating him she can, but they certainly don't have to like it, and they can certainly want better for her.
