Anyone know anything about Hotmail? For some reason, my boyfriend has not received any new messages since 11/4/08 and I know I've forwarded a few since then. MSN updated hotmail and I think it was around that time he stopped getting emails. One thing I noticed was that when I go to look up info on his account, MY account info shows up. So, Obama is the president-elect

question 1 (reducing the income tax) did NOT PASSED
question 2 on decriminalizing marijuana PASSED
question 3 on not having greyhound racing PASSED.

And I think pretty much everyone else on the ballot ran unopposed and/or I believe all democrats won seats in whichever race.

And there you have it.

Voted today. One of the women working at the poll told me she'd seen more people come through in the first few hours than she usually sees all day. It'll be interesting to see how the numbers read ( Read more... )

I've just been reading about burnout from work. I'm not burned out yet but if I don't keep watching myself, I'm on the way. I'm between being stressed and anxious and feeling like the work I do isn't good or is pointless.

Blah.

At least other things in my life are going very well.

I just watched some of Jordan's Queen Rania's Youtube presentations dispelling fiction about the Arab and Muslim world. It's pretty powerful and made me cry a bit. From what I've read about her, she's an amazing woman.

So my birthday had some good points yesterday. Some were really wonderful and there were only a couple of things not so great, but the good stuff overrode them. I hiked Mt. Wachusetts for an hour and that felt great. Then E. and I went for Thai food which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Hopeful the rest of the week goes well.

Same-sex marriages are now legal in California. *smile*
