I forgot the date and went to the Asian supermarket yesterday. A madhouse! I had to peer through a thicket of cherry branches to find the door.

I forgot the date, too, and could have grabbed some GREAT photo ops if I'd visited our rather substantial Chinatown yesterday when I was casting about for something to do! Dragon dancers and general festivity...oh well.

I'm a snake, but one of my daughters and also my best friend are oxen. And yeah the description of the snake fits me pretty well except for the vengefulness part; I really can't be bothered holding a grudge. Takes too much mental energy and I really am lazy that way.

Hey, I like snakes just fine - behind glass, at the zoo! *g* Year of the Snake people I know nothing about, but then I'm not well-versed in Chinese astrology, anyway - even had to look up my Ox traits and didn't know 'til today that Andy's a Goat (and we're not supposed to be compatible). Uh-oh. :b
