Writer's Block: Instant wish

It's crass and unimaginative, I know, but I would wish for lots and lots of money. No, it doesn't buy "happiness" but...oh wait, it actually does. Removal of stress = happiness. YMMV. :b

Same with me because I'm old enough to handle vast riches without going off the tracks. Same equation, removal of stress = happiness (plus the time to do things I want to do before I get too old).

See? Despite the indignities of old age advanced years there is a beautiful clarity that comes with it, right before we lose our minds. :b

One of the things my best friend's Dad used to say was, "Money may not buy happiness, but it doesn't buy poverty either!" Not very eloquent perhaps, but it certainly is true. And any of us who has experienced real poverty, wouldn't argue that for a minute.

Like an old Weird Al song said...
"Money can't buy happiness, But I sure can rent it!"
