...and only just beginning; it'll bloom pretty much through September, maybe longer. :)

It is too hot for it to grow here. I love them though!

Pretty. Too bad that Campanulas hate me. I killed another one, C. vidalii, last week.

I don't know vidalii, but most of them border on being weeds up here. We're loving them more and more for their long bloom season and awesomeness in dry shade.

They really MUST hate you - I'd take it personally, if I were you! :b That's very pretty, reminds me a bit of C. 'Elizabeth', big purple bells with subtle white lips, and definitely a weed here. Did you do any better with campanulas when you gardened in the UK? I'm thinking it must be a climate thing...

I love campanulas. They seem medieval to me.

Their stock is rising with us - wonderful variety of flower and plant habits, colors and lots of them bloom for months! 'Samantha' is a new favorite we started selling last year.

Most of the ones I'm familiar with are blue-purple or white. There are some light pink ones too. Are there any others in colors I'm not aware of?

Blue, purple, pink, white and shades between, and a few bicolors...but to my knowledge that's the full range.

Beautiful shot. You can see the charactaristic curling styles so well.
