Brain squish:

I can only speak for my head, but when it gets crammed I get the feeling the left brain goes "STOP! FOR THE LOVE OF *insert deity here* JUST STOP!" Then I do. Then the right brain patiently sorts the mess out in the background for about a week while the left is gibbering in the corner muttering something about paying bills. Then when I go back to whatever activity caused total sensory halt, everything seems to come together.
