Many times in my past I've gotten annoyed with people for their use of the word 'light' as synonymous to 'good' and equating 'dark' with 'bad'. I think a large part of this is my hypersensitivity to words and their implications, but there also is an underlying reality which words reflect. Agreed, the light/dark, good/bad dichotomy is too simplistic, especially considering (imo) that it's all good! The need the parts to balance the whole.

Love this question "What is the ecology of trauma?"... It triggers reverberating questions but reveals no answers. One of those things I'll have to let sit for a while.

And man I wish I could have seen Dan Berggren, our weekend was crazy busy and by Sunday night...zzzz.....

So what did you bring away from the Dave Jacke workshop? Did you check out this site yet? http://www.apiosinstitute.org/

I didn't know Dan Berggren was here! Man. I'm really sorry I missed that.

I also love the phrase "what is the ecology of trauma?" There's something in that.
