It worries me a bit that so much of my generation will leave no written legacy behind, no guidebooks for those to follow; just from rambling, narcissistic accounts of daily minutiae. Granted, sometimes I use this intertron thing as a quick reminder to myself, "these events, these synaptic triggers," and granted I've hardly written in my paper

I wouldn't worry. Nothing posted on the web ever seems to go away. I've seen entries with comments posted 6 or 8 years ago, and web sites that should have been taken down years ago.

I have no blog, no Facebook entry - blithely anonymous. What written record have I left for the future? A handful of letters in the local paper - criticisms for the clueless. Is a blog any different? Maybe not.
