Random update from way down South.....
Haven't posted anything in a while, so thought I should...
Baby bears: the wildlife rescue place where I volunteer received three American black bear cubs this past Sunday. Apparently the man who owned them didn't have the proper license to keep them, and they escaped during one of the storms we've had down here recently. Soooo, the Fish and Game officers confiscated them, and all three are now living at the rescue center. They're quite adorable, very curious, and constantly hungry (one attempted to suckle on my hand while we were playing with them)...baby bears. *grins quietly*
Clickety,clickety,clat: have recently learned how to knit. Pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as difficult as I thought, and am now in the process of finding enough different colors of wool to make a Dr. Who scarf (I have the pattern, just need to find the right colors and amount of wool). Probably won't be able to use it whilst I'm down in Tropic-land, but I'm hoping to be done with it by the time I (hopefully) move back up north ;o)
Oh, and I'll be in Philadelphia from 9/25 to 9/29...should be interesting, I've never been there before. I'm planning on visiting the Museum of Art, any other recommendations???
