In Valencia there was a crafty and wacky crow named Jibblywom.
He often bit and scratched at the tips and nails of Old Tom's thumbs.
Old Tom hated this irksome act and constructed a mighty, grumbsome bomb;
Poor Jibblywom's guts and innards were all a'scattered like breakfast cereal crumbs.

I vaguely remember battling the guy that played the Baron from Dune (the old crappy movie from the 80s). I worked 8:45 - 4 today. JR and I were considering a little game of golf this evening at Bellarmine, but the rain changed our attitudes. Ah well...next time perhaps. Tonight I had one of the most improbable hole in one putts I could ever fathom or imagine. I think it was on a hole that was supposed to take three shots. I discovered a new composer that I extremely like. His name is Egon Wellesz, and he was a musicologist, who also composed a great deal of music in his long life (1885 - 1974). He was born in Vienna, seems to have known Mahler, and was a pupil of Schoenberg for a while too (he wrote the first biography of Schoenberg). Being a jew, he took up ( Read more... )

Phil won the PGA. That's what I was hoping for. Now it's time to go study. What a fun way to spend the remainder of this day. At least tomorrow should be easier due to my studying. Tomorrow night my mind will be on complete autopilot.

I'm happy and discontent all at the same time. I thought I wouldn't get to see the end of the PGA Championship since I was at work today, and now the play has been suspended until tomorrow.
