did you know that "promiscuous" is a synonym of "random"? i <3 merriam-webster online. it makes alphabetical order obsolete. muhahah ( Read more... )

I had no idea promiscuous is a synonym of random...
But I guess it kind of makes sense... when you are being promiscuous you are having sex with random people...I guess.

I don't know I'm just rambling now!

personally, i prefer to be promiscuous with carefully selected people. ...keeps the stupid/ugly people out. heh.

hmm.. i was going to use that 'random' word in our conversation yesterday, and i checked www.m-w.com just in case, and since it wasn't quite what i was going for, i changed my mind...
i don't spose that's why you looked it up, is it? :-o

not at all. ;-) i just wanted a title for my entry that had something to do with the word random. but i didn't want to use that word because i think i overuse it. i thought maybe i'd use haphazard, but decided to look it up to see if there was anything better. (there wasn't.) that's how i found the other word.
