First Bird-song in three days....

Yup, that's right. This morning is the first time I've heard bird-song in about three days. I think that really sums up what's been happening around here. We got very sodden, but managed to get off lightly, compared to some. The water levels across our backyard were about 100-150mm, with no water getting inside the house. It's receeded already
