I can't believe the timing of the little throwaway I wrote on the ubiquity of Don't Stop Believin' by Journey. I was kind of dubious about it after I turned it in, like, Maybe it's just me. We play "dont stop believing" to close the bar EVERY NIGHT.
It is ALWAYS a sing-along at top-volume.
Sometimes we get a guy on the piano and perform it karoke.
But it is always there.
I was actually planning on creating this montage of like, every triumphant moment in famous horror movies, and put it to "dont stop believing".
It was awesome when the Soprano's used it, even though I dont watch the Sopranos.
FYI: another great (although not as great) fist-pumper is Springsteen's Jack and Diane. It also has that awesome cheesy-yet-fuck-yea message too it. Or its about abortion. Either way.
