Today, I went to BR and had some lovely tiramisu ice cream and had a long chat with Kyle. Then I was tempted by Long's and ended up buying a can of very fibrous but absolutely HORRIBLE minestrone soup.
Yeahh, I wouldn't really suggest going to non-supermarket places/grocery stores for food. This is just my opinion, but I really only like buying food from places like Safeway (or Albertsons/Lucky when they used to be here). Even if the food isn't bad quality (although it does tend to be), it tends to be more expensive. Either that, or they sacrifice quality for price.
I once went to Walmart and decided to buy some food there because we were already there, and when I got home I found out the boxes and bags were broken (even though they were the same brands I would have bought at Safeway). And before we left the store, we had discovered some of the stuff was broken, so we switched it (of course, only to find that the stuff we exchanged for it was still broken).
I don't know if I've just had bad experiences or what, but I just don't like buying food from places other than Safeway or other supermarkets/grocery stores. Of course, I'm probably biased somehow.
