It's mystifying to me that more people aren't talking about this show. It's so incredibly good. I've said before that Journeyman and Life are the only two new shows I like and damned if it isn't more true now than ever. Except perhaps the only shows I'm enjoying period.
I care about these characters full stop and find all of their feelings and problems believable and something I want to see resolved.
This is QUALITY television here, dammnit. When a slash-happy fangirl is rooting first and foremost to watch scenes between the very-married het couple you know the creators have managed something very special. The chemistry and passion just leaps off the screen. Am I the least bit inclined to have the male lead hook up with his gorgeous former fiance who he sees, when he jumps back into the past, all the freaking time? Nope. I just want him and his wife to end up happily ever after. OTP, to a ridiculous degree here.
And you know? I don't just want to see the pairing of my choice on screen. I want to see everyone because all the characters just care about each other and its so so interesting to watch as they try to figure out what's up with Dan Vasser. Love this show.♥♥♥
Heroes has been so abysmally bad this year, it will be an injustice of a ridiculous degree to axe Journeyman in its place. I will be seriously inclined to quit Heroes altogether (if not the network), if this becomes the case. Not that that would be a hardship at this point.
Save Journeyman! ETA: Edited for typos and random thoughts I had to throw in.
