we'll be getting it by dawn. the temps will go from near 50 to the teens in a matter of a few hours. i hope they cancel school. dave has to drive the new car into it. rory's band's playing tomorrow night for the first time - and it may well be a war zone if the winds are like what they're predicting.
hang in there. it could be worse. at least it's snow and not bombs.

I really dont want another ice storm it is soooo damaging and scary when all you hear are snap snap BOOM BOOM tress falling all over and transformer blowing for hours and hours .... Mike just pulled the dead phone line hanging offf the trees left behind after the last storm it was fried he said..... we are still cleaning up andhave more trees to cut up that had fallen ...But I Do So Want some snow no ice just snow...
i'd have to tie rowan down to keep him home - it's the last day before a week's vacation and he's got tests. believe me though - i WILL tie him down if it's real bad.
i agree - i hated when i'd hear the ominous creeeeaak and some loud pops before someone's tree came crashing down. the old box elder across the street scared the cr@p out of me! it shook the ground when it fell.
but i did kinda like the crystaline tinkle as the ice fell from twigs. and how it looked with the sun shining on all the trees decorated in prisms.
but going without heat when it was just above freezing was tough. i can't imagine going without heat with temps in the single digits. *shudder!
We had flurries but no accumulation.. We had damage from the last storm that we are still cleeaning up from
Can you believe how gorgeous it was today I even saw two small orange butterflies and there is a moth on my back screen door... But maybe the kids will have the day off Monday after all...And I need a day off of work would be sooo nice if it were snow...

We did have some snow on Sunday, but it was almost hot today. Blech. I wish it would choose a season already!

We are doing good. I just have a hard time getting on here and commenting. In time, it will get easier. :D
Oh, we didn't have accumulation either. It just flurried around like butterflies. :D
Our school system is out next week for winter break. So nice!
