Aww, that's awesome! From what I understand, the only thing that was retconned out was the marriage (and, I guess the present relationship?) So they dated and broke up? Who knows. But most of the courtship stuff presumably still happened. Don't know how many of the stories collected in this we're supposed to assume are still continuity though. *brainhurty*

Yeah, I know--"It all happened! Except they weren't married! Because marriage is boring!" Or...something like that. I just find it ironic that right there in the solicit we're being told that we know MJ as Peter's wife--which we do, of course, Quesada's best efforts to the contrary. (For extra, extra irony, apparently the issue in which she accepts Peter's proposal is in there. I guess we're supposed to mentally insert a "no" at the end...)

My retcon issues aside, though, this really does look awesome; I've always liked MJ, and here she is! Backstory! Marriage proposals! Bad guys who think she's Spider-Man! (Hey, I've heard dumber theories, although I do wonder if this guy has ever actually seen Spider-Man...)
