I opted to play off the dicotomy of women's roles in the era.
We actually had a long talk about this plan at FC. It's going to be fun. Poor Seth didn't realize what was going on until it was too late.
Were I you, I would go with the engineer thing, but let your girly side go wild at the same time.
I just got a great 1900 driving coat/duster pattern, and have a huge hat to go with it.

Definitely going with the engineer thing. I want to invent some imaginary tools somehow for a toolbelt - will read your book reccs for ideas.
Is the duster the Folkwear pattern? Once upon a time I had that, but never finished it. Yay for fantastic hats!
