I think we all secretly liked the early Beatles stuff, whether we admitted it or not. I was still in awe of them at that point, and wanted to be them, because they got all the girls. So I guess Sir Paul, you inspired me too!
We all did. I mean, Pete and I were in the press taking the piss out of them CONSTANTLY, but you could find me in my room at night listening to Please Please Me or Beatles for Sale.
I don't think I spelled it quite right, but it's an herb that's supposed to help alleviate cold symptoms and shorten the length of the illness. I swear by it.
And yes, I could be find in my room at night, reciting Paul's lines from A Hard Day's Night, aftah it came out. I'd already met the Beatles the night they debuted on the Ed Sullivan Show (I was on that night too, remembah? With the Oliver! kids...), and was very impressed with Ringo. I wiped his nose in the elevator for 'im!
Hey Finch, at least you can always release another album... I, on the other hand, come up with songs, and I've got nothing to do with them!
I'm sorry you're not feeling well, but I think Mags has everything under control. I was always such a baby when I got sick, Alison would take care of me, much like Mags does for you. It was nice to be like a child again, even for a day or two.
The Beatles are a great band, they opened the doors for all of us! I actually really admire Paul, because it's harder than hell to play bass onstage and sing at the same time... He did it his ENTIRE career, with the Beatles and on his own. With The Who, I only did on occasion or in backing vocals. But, since I got to tour with Ringo's All Starr Band, I now have the satisfaction of knowing I've played Yellow Submarine more times than Paul has, haha.

Yes, and I was watching from home with my brothers. So what was it like wiping Ringo's nose?
