Oddly, the planned, 1-2 days in the hospital, and getting to come home this time with no catheter... well that flew out the window.
Within 30 minutes of waking up, they were kicking me out WITH a catheter that will be in until Monday.

I was in so much pain, that when I tried to stand up to get out of the wheel chair and into the car I nearly fainted, so the wheelchair gal insisted that they put me back into the recovery room for 2 more hours and give me more pain meds.

I'm home, and in soooooo much pain from the cath, since the urethra is HIGHLY inflamed from the surgery.

I'll be writing a nasty leter to Seton Hospital in dialy City about their discharge proceedures!!!

So glad to see you on LJ and the surgery went well.. Until I read face book, I thought it was another brain surgery!! Thank God it wasn't and that you are home safe and sound. You were never BORING!!!

LOL, oh i am boring, at least i my medical stuff because its just one thing after another, after another. I bore myself with it!

Home, in pain and filling the cath bag with the most unresting color of crimson... blah.
