A user submission (Thanks lizlux ) in this surprisingly engaging series, as I try to uncover ads that don't suck. This is a brilliant TV commercial for Toshiba's new flat panel. I find this ad extremely impressive. It's an almost high art concept that still does a great job at promoting a product.

The motrin ad... how could they have gotten it so wrong? The twitter-verse forces Motrin to back down and pull the ad down. From FactoryJoe's photostream:

I hadn't seen this before. It looks like the ad was made by a bunch of older, male, out-of-touch creative directors.
