I think it's fair to say that the main place that has entered my vocabulary is Reading/Watching/Playing Sam & Max Freelance Police, and Max (who says it) goes out of his way to be politically incorrect at every turn. I've used it somewhat jokingly and ironically; I certainly do not intend to imply weakness.

I do understand the point though, and I'm going to try to remove it from my vocabulary, certainly when talking to/referring to the boys. Adults have a bit better sense of when things are meant ironically.
