The night still waning on and the house still and quiet as the mogs lay sleeping and the help now gone to their rooms. Anna sauntered through the door to the portal room, stopping a bit to wait for Ramon. Tired eyes gazed to him, lips curling into a sweetly happy smile.
"Come, Mon Cher..."

And the here and now was Anna.
Removing his hat and coat and hanging them on the chair he had sat in last time he visited here, the seat from where he had originally professed his feelings to her, he slowly turned and faced the dark-haired woman. He couldn't help but feel a tad nervous. Even with her affectionate gestures back at the Nexus, he was unclear on just how she was seeing this evening playing out. He decided he wouldn't push it either way.*
*coughs into his fist nervously before speaking* So, Anna. Are...Are we just going to bed down then? You do look terribly tired...

The length of the halls were spotted by old suits of Drow and Enchanted armor, between them tall standing golems that had been deactivated for the time being.
The woman entered her room, which looked like half of her wardrobe had spilled out of the walk in closet, and then been organized into towering stacks by color. Anna sat on the edge of her bed, eyes still off for the stained glass window on the Southern wall.*
I am... Beyond tired, Ramon. Even with Raine's help, my head feels torn...

*Anna blinked to his question amidst her tiredly closing eyes. Her head turned to him, eyebrows stitched together in curious thought. Her body slumped a little, head downcast with gaze set into her lap. Her hands fidgeted some in her lap as she found the right way to phrase it all.*
Raine... is my Sorrin Knight. On Kesaid, Sorrin's are assigned to casters for protection through a very solid oath and a very high degree of bond. Raine also happens to be a very powerful psion. He seems to think it's a manner of willing your way to be done. I think it is more of having the God's grant those favors to be done. He... He helped me to be strong, which was at its highest when I was very young. About eighteen to be exact.
In order stabilize myself, Raine used his psionic power to suppress Annek to a void-like part of my brain, thus giving me time to find a way to properly... fix it.
Raine may be a cold hearted bastard... But he knows his duty as a Sorrin come before that of a low life...
