About a year ago I bought a dvd player and had it for about a month. It worked fine up until a button was pushed on the remote that said Pscan/ normal. Once this happened the screen went completely blank. I called best buy and they said that it was gone because the button is for computer monitors and the dvd player was dead, but I could bring it in

I remembered how I talked to the guy, saying how that makes no fucking sense to put a button on the remote that destroys the product.

That's what I was thinking when reading the story. Wtf kind of answer is that from the best buy dude? "Just buy another one." Ummm, ok.
