I saw "Iron Man" last night. I've always loved Robert Downey Jr., so I knew that he'd be perfect even though I knew nothing about the character. I liked the movie a lot. However, I didn't blow my load all over the screen like everyone else apparently has. I mean, yeah, it was entertaining and all. But I'm much more emotionally engaged by/awed by

Agreed on the Chaplin thing. RDJ is beyond brilliant in that movie. And you know I'm totally rekindling that there fandom. My thing with Iron Man was more just for him. The movie itself wasn't as awe inspiring as the superhero movies you mentioned. I agree. I felt happy that Robert was in such a fun kickass movie. I think The Dark Knight is going to be way more engaging (and heartbreaking) than any other recent superhero movie, what do you think?

Yes, The Dark Knight is going to be AMAZING!!! I absolutely can't wait for it to come out. Batman has always been my #1 favorite superhero. :)

Although, I must say, I am so out-of-my-mind-stoked for Batman, I can hardly contain myself.
Also, I thought Dave & I were the only ones who watched Ally McBeal! God, the thing with the snowman, the fact that he had to leave the show because he went to prison/rehab in real life, AUGH. The second he left, that show plummeted, and it broke my heart because it was a serious favorite of mine. RJD=Love.
Tonight will be alright. Huuug.

Batman is the SHIT! I'm ridiculously psyched for that one. I think it's going to be amazing.
Ally McBeal fans repreSENT! That's so not the kind of thing I usually get into, but I loved that show deeply. Something about it was magic. I was sad when that piano store next to the Little Building closed, because when the player piano was on when I walked down Boylston at night in the winter, I always had an Ally McBeal moment.
And thank you for the support!
