Ok, seriously. I'm getting a cat before the end of June. The plans are in the works. But I should probably stay off of the MSPCA website until I actually go to the place to pick up my little boy, because all the descriptions of the cats that no one will adopt are really upsetting me

That's a great idea! Adopt a needy cat.

One of my intern jobs the other day was to cover up the tiny little scratch marks on allll the leather chairs in the office with shoe polish because we keep this stray cat in the building, so I'm not feeling especially cat friendly. And yet I support your decision because cats make wonderful companions and I would get one if it wasn't against campus policy.

(Also, I can relate to apologizing for drunken LJ posts, but they're generally for the best.)

aw, cats + limoncello are two of the best things in the world, especially together. i'm excited for you. i went to the MSPCA a couple of weekends ago, looking for a pal for margot. they have such a nice adoption center and a lot of cute little guys!

and yes, stacy, cats are like people. people who chew holes in your bread bags, piss on your laundry, and occasionally attempt to claw your face off while you sleep.
