First, get to her and spend the time you can both remember. You have the chance to say what you need to, use it, even if it's just that you love her.

Next, know she loves you and wants you to be happy, that is usually what a Mom wants for her kids. Find out what makes you happy and go with it. Reach for your potential and let her know your working on it.

I will be thinking about you. You will do what you need to do, and you will make it though, and you will hurt and cry and feel lost and a lot more. But though it all, remember she wants you to be happy, keep that in mind. Be brave for her, never flinch in front of her if you can avoid it, she needs your strength.

I know how it feels, Troy. I was also have the country away when my mother was diagnosed with Leukemia, my mom also took a tumble on her way to the bathroom while I was there visiting and I felt so helpless. All you can do is let her know how much you love her and try to keep her spirits up as much as possible. Do whatever you can to give her joy in the time she has left.

Remember you also have people who love you and are here for you, too.

Remember, you can always draw on the strength of friends if need be. And don't worry about rambling....I didn't see your rambling so don't know what you're talking about ;) Do what you need to, but also make sure you are taking care of yourself. *HUGS*
