Thoughts from packing...

Perhaps it means we are doing too much if my packing involves preparing for temperatures of 32 in farenheit *AND* celsius...??

Just think layers. If the first layer is fine to wear when its hot, you can always throw the next ones on top and be fine for cold. Of course, I am the girl that brings 8 pairs of shoes to go away for a week, so you don't have to listen to me.

I dunno, it sound like preparing for Wisconsin in the spring or fall. A high temperature difference of 30 degrees from one day to the next is not an odd occurance. Layers are your friend.

I hope you have a lovely vacation, you both deserve one.

32C - 32F = a difference of 57.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

In actuality, the situation is even more extreme having checked at Weather Underground:

Thursday it will be getting down to 20F in upstate New York.
Friday (I know we won't be there for more than a week, but it's probably typical for the time of year) it will make it up to 35.5C = 96F in Adelaide.

Layers are nice, but they don't work when the extremes are quite that bad.

Don't pack anything. Extremes of temperature are a good excuse for shopping. Buy new things, especially shoes. You know you want to.
