Well, we now have a date for my second hip replacement.  It will be done on Monday, July 20.  Don't know time yet......that will be set on the 17th when I have my pre-op visit.  But, for the time being, I will be at home......still on crutches, still no weight bearing.........going stir crazy.  :P  Gonna be a loooooooong summer..............

We're all moved in to our apartment in Rochester.  Still unpacking, looking for lost items, etc.  Goal is to try get as much put away as possible by Thursday, we have company coming from Germany!  Just wish the AC was working..........it's not, and may not be until Friday!  (ugh!)

OK.....back to unpacking.............

(screaming as I pull hair out)........there is *SO* much stuff in our house!  The moving sale today was a wash....literally, because it rained all morning and through the afternoon until about 4, and we closed at 5.  Tomorrow is supposed to be better......but we found more stuff that needs to be sold!  I have absolutely no idea who we're going to ( Read more... )

2. Find a place to live in/near Rochester - done
3. Pick a moving date - done (weekend of the 20th)
4. Moving sale to get rid of stuff - next weekend (the 12 and 13)
5. Move to Rochester...............

Things are falling into place!  Yay!  Huge sense of relief, but now the real work begins.  Updates later when we know more

Graduation was yesterday.........lots of people, way too much food (anybody wanna come over and help eat some of it?), got to see some people we hadn't seen in years........all in all, a good day.  Just way tired today and hip is feeling it today as well.  Also spent too much time in the sun and the photodermatitis is acting up today.  Good day to ( Read more... )

Well, gevehard  is back home, safe and sound, from International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).  I'm so glad to have him home again.  Things just don't seem to go quite as smoothly when he's gone.  Sounds like they had a good time in Reno though.  Went up to Donner's Pass one day, Lake Tahoe another day, and then there's all the stuff that goes on at ( Read more... )
