I'm sorry the year's been going so poorly, especially with threats to close the department and the aftermath of the earthquake. It's so disheartening to think of heritage buildings being torn down, more buildings to follow, and a city full of ruins from a single, awful event. Devastation everywhere you turn-- how awful.

I hope your home is relatively stable again, though I know it feels much emptier now without Zizou. Have you been able to put things away, and live in it again without thinking too much about the damage?

I miss hearing from you, and hope you'll find a way to drop in when you can. *hugs*
