ok, so here's the deal: my car has been declared totaled. that's right ladies and gentlemen, the purple 'stang is no more. however, i have the opportunity to own a 1967 mustang coupe...tres amazing. i need everyone's honest opinion according to this pro/con list ( Read more... )

Turquoise '67 Coupe? That car is a gift from God! You can install a non-invasive CD player that won't depreciate the value, and you'll have an even hotter car than you did before!

The lack of airbags is worisome...but hopefully you wouldn't wreck anymore?

ok as a graduated highschooler i am gonna tell u everything i know bout older cars.
-gas will be more expensive (even though the gas prices are going down)
-if u are planning to buy it remember: have a trusted mechanic look over it first.
- if it breaks down or wrecks: the parts that u need to fix it will be hard to find( get used to ebay hun)
-ur going to have ot ahve seat belt installed into this thing right?
-and finally, ur insurance will not be the same at all honey they are trying to screw you over b/c with every wreck ur in, even if its not ur fault, they up ur payment.
sorry to burst ur bubble but i wanted you to think logically and u ahve been which is good but as a person that has always wanted a car from the 50/60/70's and have never gotten one b/c of those reasons, jsut think bout harder bout ur purchase b/c it is going to burn a whole in the pocket.
