Advice, anyone?

A close friend of mine has some Takarazuka rarities on VHS, and as you may know, a couple months ago, the last manufacturer of VHS players stopped making them. So for her personal use, archival purposes, and streaming possibilities, she’d like me to convert them to digital files or dvd, well, somehow

I've posted this on tumblr, but I thought posting here would be a good idea.
I use the Elgato Video Capture, which digitizes the vhs signal to my computer as a .mp4 file, and then burn the .mp4 file to a dvd. I bought my video capture from Amazon, and other brands are also available. I have converted about 90 vhs tapes to digital and burned corresponding dvd’s with no problems. Note: the quality of the digital download is dependent of the quality of vhs tape itself, and probably a little less on the quality of the transmission by the VCR. Good luck.
