I use the Elgato Video Capture, which digitizes the vhs signal to my computer as a .mp4 file, and then burn the .mp4 file to a dvd. I bought my video capture from Amazon, and other brands are also available. I have converted about 90 vhs tapes to digital and burned corresponding dvd’s with no problems. Note: the quality of the digital download is dependent of the quality of vhs tape itself, and probably a little less on the quality of the transmission by the VCR. Good luck.
