Er. I'm afraid I don't recall? You should ask Joseph; he and Maki got us there. We rented a car and drove, and I remember that it was quite a ways. At least a prefecture or three over. If you're limited to public transportation you might want to make it a part of a larger trip. But, er, talk to Joseph.

That is an amazing picture. I similarly love the wallpaper. Gorgeous. (Though I was always more a fan of Douglas' Adams "throw yourself at the ground and miss" method.)

Isn't it? Isn't it? :-D Although really I can't claim any credit for the picture; that was just the way it looked from the Ferris wheel car.

I was fond of the Douglas Adams idea, but I never managed to pull it off. I'm just too good at hitting the ground.
