Yesterday we had an ice storm. It was nothing like ones I've seen before, but it was still kinda nasty. We lost cable about 10:30. So I started cleaning. Then we lost power briefly while I was talking to Kris, but it came right back on. Although the cordless phone died, so Kris had to call back. Power went out permanently around 12:30, I

I'm glad you are ok! I saw on the news about the horrible ice down there. Glad the doggies helped keep your warm. Hopefully, they got along with the kitties and kept them warm too! ;) Have fun in Chicago!
