I've thought that for a while. Most of these people would rather pass their days either under the impression that staying cheerful will get them what they want, or they're trying to kill each other.

The winner is the guy that's willing to do what the other guy isn't. If they're willing to kill us, and you fucking know they are, then where does that leave us if we aren't? On the losing side, that's where.
