Sorry to be so late in posting this but things have been a bit busy here. Anyway, here is my part of the reading along with my thanks to lbilover for setting this whole thing up and keeping it going. It's been great fun and I look forward to more.

I think this passage, more than any other, shows how wise is Master Samwise, and I love the way you read it.

Awwww, thank you! I was very pleased to be given this part. This is the most hobbit dialogue that I've gotten to read since we started and it was fun to do. All I was missing was Frodo.

Poor Merry and Pippin! They didn't get to follow Frodo into Mordor when they wanted to so badly! Lovely reading!

LOL Yes, I will always wonder exactly how Merry and Pippin might have managed if either had been in Sam's place. I think Sam was the right hobbit for that job but it is fun to think about what might have happened.

Awesome reading! Love this section so much and you did so well with the different voices from all the hobbitses! love how Merry and pippin say that Frodo needn't ask that they go with him for they'll do whatever for him. I think that was so lost in the movies.

I like Sam in this part too. I enjoyed reading this one. Sorry about the comments. No matter what I try with the settings, I can't seem to fix it. It's very frustrating!
